Well, I’m back home in the sticks of northern Indiana, the heartland of America. It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve called this place home, and the area has changed dramatically. I remember my Indiana hometown as a [somewhat] busy, bustling town. I’m sad to say that it looks like it’s not so much this anymore. It’s rather sad to drive by scads of homes that have been vacated long before, businesses that have closed their doors (and have been for sale for what looks like years), and seeing people that just do not look as happy as they once were. It’s sad that our current economy situation has even hit the small towns.
Regardless of this, I’m looking forward to some good quality time to think, talk to God, and just do a whole lot of nothing!
I just had to take some photos that I had never noticed before. I found these hilarious.
