So, think about this. What do you think about when you hear the statement, “We need to live our today, because we have absolutely no promise of our tomorrow”?
Whether you’ve heard this in everyday language or at a funeral, it is very powerful. That is, only if you’re really thinking about it. Really, people…think about it. Are you living your life the way you should be, and waking each day thankful for the day which you’ve been given, knowing that you may not have tomorrow? Would you be proud of the life that you’d lived that day? I can honestly say that I haven’t necessarily been thinking this way all of the time.
When we really start to think about it – what beautiful things would happen if we all considered this each day of our lives – I wonder how much better our world would be today. Just think about how all mankind would treat one another.
Consider how you live your life, how you treat your family, friends, loved ones, and how you spend your cash. Also consider the dash (“-”) on each and every tombstone. Such as, “1933-2009″.
Think about it. Powerful. No, it’s more than that…it’s life-changing if you actually internalize this idea.
How are you spending your dash?
